The Fairlight Audio Interface connects to the Fairlight Audio Accelerator PCIe card (required and available separately) with the supplied proprietary cable. It adds analog and digital connections, preamps for mics and instruments, sample rate conversion, and sync at any standard frame rate to your DaVince Resolve 17 system.
The interface features two remote-controlled XLR/TRS microphone/instrument inputs with 48V phantom power and up to +71.5 dB of gain, perfect for clean recording of dynamic mics, studio condensers, and electric instruments. There are also eight +24 dBu balanced analog inputs on a DB25 connector. The front panel of the interface sports multi-segment meters for easy viewing of audio levels.
With eight line outputs on a DB25 connector and four line outs on 1/4" jacks, the Fairlight Audio Interface can provide +24 dBu analog signal to your mixer or dedicated recording system. All analog outputs are balanced and feature mute protection.
The front panel offers RCA coaxial ports for stereo AES or S/PDIF input and output. The other digital audio connections for transformer-coupled AES inputs 3-20 and AES outputs 3-24 are on the rear. Sample rate conversion is available on digital inputs 1-2.
75-ohm BNC reference input for Tri-Sync or Black Burst
75-ohm BNC reference loop out for Tri-Sync or Black Burst
75-ohm BNC wordclock input
75-ohm BNC wordclock regenerated output
Syncs to all common frame rates and formats including HD Tri-level sync, video sync, word clock, and AES/EBU
RS-422 9-pin machine control input
RS-422 9-pin machine control output
DB25 connector to handle GPI and GPO connections for cough and On-Air control as well as timecode input and output with regeneration
The Fairlight Audio Interface incorporates an internal power supply with an IEC C14 mains input. It is automatically powered on/off only when the Fairlight Audio Accelerator is powered on/off.
