Among the 17 elements, we used 9 special glasses, and premium material is adopted for the barrel.
And it features weather sealing on 7 different spots in order to protect the lens from light rain or dust.
Also, we use the Linear STM motor for a fast and accurate AF to respond to track shooting with eye recognition and face recognition.

As the AF 24-70mm F2.8 FE provides the ‘Par-focal’ function in manual focus video shooting mode, allows the user to zoom in on a subject and zoom back out while maintaining the same focus. Well-controlled AF movement speed in AF video shooting mode reduced its wobbling and noise, which maximizes the convenience of the lens usability.

In particular, the optimum resolution is achieved through the optical design of 17 elements in 14 groups (2 ASP, 1 H-ASP, 3 HR, and 3 ED).
